Overview

The Ecommerce Marketing Specialist will be responsible for using cutting edge initiatives to drive the company’s business forward to meet established growth objectives online.  This position will be responsible for identifying and using tools to track, measure and report progress.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the company’s online marketing strategy
  • Manage and report online marketing initiatives using a proactive, data driven approach
  • Constantly measure and optimize the effectiveness of online campaigns
  • Conceive, launch and manage the sales of the company’s new products online to help grow revenue and establish dominance in core categories
  • Create initiatives to engage online consumers directly through customer reviews, Q&A and other avenues with the goals of new customer acquisition and increased customer loyalty
  • Drive the creation of new content optimized for the online platform, while also ensuring that product pictures, features and other descriptions are accurate and up-to-date
  • Optimize listings with keywords and keyword phrases to increase traffic to online sales sites and continually review reports to discover rankings
  • Develop digital marketing strategies
  • Search for and report MAP (minimum advertised price) violations and unauthorized sellers online
  • Monitor competitive and consumer trends; leverage insights for improvement of marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • Must be capable of travel as the position requires (up to 15% travel)
  • Ability to withstand strain and stress from the pressure of multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Intuitive personality
  • Strong project management skills and capacity to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical ability
  • Strong communication skills with outstanding interpersonal capability
  • Skilled writer and proofreader
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Willingness to work a flexible fulltime schedule (40 hours); including nights and weekends
  • Degree in business
  • Prior online marketing experience, specifically building plans that continuously improve buyer experience required
  • History of understanding of approaches to natural/healthy living preferred
  • Experience within the natural products industry and/or CPG background preferred
